The latest analysis from ATRI serves as a stark reminder that the post-pandemic return to work has come at a cost. Traffic conditions have worsened significantly in recent years, resulting in major supply chain bottlenecks across the country. With average truck speeds falling 6% compared to last year and less than 30 MPH reported in 10 of America’s busiest locations.
ATRI’s annual analysis is no small feat. Their database of freight truck GPS data and custom software applications allow them to analyze terabytes of information from different trucking operations across the U.S., producing a congestion impact ranking for each location and supporting numerous state & federal initiatives in terms of freight mobility.
While the ATRI monitors more than 300 freight-critical locations, the bottleneck locations detailed in this latest report represent the top 100 congested locations. To access the full report visit ATRI’s website.
