Job Description

Now Hiring Full Time & Part Time Delivery Drivers for FedEx Ground Contractor!

Cajun Priority Express with FedEx Ground is looking to hire full-time and part-time delivery drivers in the Baton Rouge area. We are looking for motivated and dependable individuals to work as part of a team! If you are looking to further your career as a professional driver, we look forward to having you on the team!

CDL License is NOT required!!! Our FedEx Ground company is looking for people who have been Local Drivers, Route Drivers, Truck Drivers, Couriers, Pick Up Drivers, Delivery drivers – and if you have driven for UPS, Amazon, previous FedEx companies, DHL, Wal- Mart, Uber, Lyft or any other similar companies that is a plus!

Job Summary

Drivers will be operating out of the 10800 S. Reitz, Baton Rouge, LA 70809 terminal and will be making deliveries to local businesses and residences in suburban areas. Our drivers will be operating 14’, 16’, & 17’ cutaway vehicles.

Pay:

$120 per day
Training pay is $80 per day and typically lasts 1-2 weeks

Work Hours

Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday

8AM – delivery completion around 5PM

FedEx Delivery Driver Requirements:

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Class D drivers license
  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • 1 Year of Driving Experience for a job
  • Must be able to pass a Drug Test (includes test for cannabis, Delta 8, certain CBDs, etc.) • Must be able to pass a DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer!)
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check
  • Physically able to handle packages up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities of a FedEx Delivery Driver

  • Arrive at terminal located at 10800 S. Reitz, Baton Rouge, LA 70809 to pick up vehicle and/ or packages
  • Loading and Unloading packages from truck
  • Delivering packages to destination
  • Scanning and Logging Packages
