HOME DAILY – CDL Class A – Locomotive Fueler and Servicer -Night Shift with Sunday and Monday OFF

Job Description

• $93,400 + annually (60 hours)
• $1,750 + weekly earnings (60 hours)
• $75,600 + annually  (48 hours)
• $1,404 + weekly earnings (48 hours)

• Position 1: Set 4 on 3 off (48 hour) night schedule: 2 PM – 2 AM with EVERY Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday OFF (Fueling ONLY)
• Position 2: Set 5 on 2 off (60 hour) night shift schedule: 4 PM – 4 AM with EVERY Sunday and Monday OFF (Fueling and Servicing)
• Overtime pay after 40 hours
• Manual transmission tractor with tanker (10-speed)

• Operate a manual transmission tractor-trailer tanker to transport and deliver fuel into locomotives at railyards.
• Serve as a mobile fueling station, providing on-site fueling services to locomotives.
• Run regular routes between Allentown, Philadelphia, and Baltimore, ensuring timely and efficient fuel deliveries.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate fuel logs, delivery records, and inventory documentation.
• Communicate effectively with railroad personnel to coordinate fueling operations.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols during transport and fueling.

Position 2: 60 hour Schedule Job Duties (Fueling and Servicing)

• Operate a manual transmission tractor-trailer tanker to transport and deliver fuel into locomotives at railyards.
• Serve as a mobile fueling station, providing on-site fueling services to locomotives.
• Perform locomotive daily inspections.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate fuel logs, delivery records, and inventory documentation.
• Communicate effectively with railroad personnel to coordinate fueling operations.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols during transport and fueling.

• CDL Class A with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements
• Manual transmission experience – no automatic restrictions
• Tractor-trailer driving experience (Hazmat hauling experience not required)
• Ability to pass DOT and company background checks
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Strong communication and time-management skills

• Able to consistently bend, stoop, kneel, and climb on and off elevated surfaces
• May have to walk long distances on paved, unmaintained, or uneven surfaces
• Able to climb in and out of a truck cab multiple times per shift and climb a ladder or steps 10 or more times per day
• Able to drive and work outside in adverse weather conditions
• Willing to work with liquid hazardous and dry bulk materials
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
