Jason Barber of Bethany, Oklahoma rescued an injured motorcyclist on June 17, 2022.
Barber was traveling on I-35 South near Ardmore, Oklahoma when he saw the accident happen. He told The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA), “The deer ran right into him – sparks just started flying everywhere. He went one way and the deer went the other way.” Barber pulled over to help him and pulled him out of the roadway to prevent him from being hit by another vehicle. Barber then called for help and waited for emergency personnel.
Barber said, “I just happened to be in the right place at the wrong time, the wrong place at the right time. There’s a reason I was there.”
