Doron Doravi is one of the dozens of truckers who volunteer to drive a 375-foot replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial originally located in Washington D.C. This way people across the country can get a chance to see it.
He picked up the exhibit from St. Paul airport and drove it to downtown Minneapolis. Doravi and other employees were treated to a barbecue lunch by Brian Short, the company’s president, and other executives. Doravi then drove the truck and the replica wall to Winsted, which is about an hour west of Minneapolis.
For a week, the replica stood in Winsted. This past weekend, other truckers transported the display from Winsted to Iowa. It will travel to other states until November. Click here for the full story.
