Mahoning Twp., PA – A trucking company was under fire when firefighters showed up last Wednesday night in Carbon County. At 7:30 p.m. at Estes Trucking a fire broke out. The fire was big and shot up out of the building with a large cloud of smoke hovering over the trucking property. This is not the first time there has been a fire at this company, matter of fact it is the second one this week. There have been no reported injuries thus far.
There were multiple fire trucks at the location. Four trailers were damaged due to this fire. Along with the building, officials said two trailers had also caught on fire and been in flames. Items on the loading dock were also damaged. The fire was put out in about two hours, with the last crew leaving at 2 a.m. Thursday. Employees were evacuated and the Mahoning police department they are currently investigating what caused the fire. Fire departments from Lehighton, Franklin Township, East Penn Township, Bowmanstown, Parryville, and Jim Thorpe responded, as did ambulances from Lehighton and Mahoning Valley.
