OTR driver
OTR company drivers at Cardinal can earn over $85,000 and run on a schedule that puts them out for a minimum of three weeks and home for 3-5 full days. These drivers receive $300 per day plus a $50 per diem, with a minimum of $1,500 per week when not on home time. Our OTR drivers work on dedicated accounts throughout the lower 48 states, but mainly in the Southeast region. You must be willing and able to touch freight in this position.
OTR/Regional run driver – lower 48
Our dedicated OTR/regional run drivers cover the lower 48 states with an average length of haul of 3,000. These flatbed drivers make around $75,000 annually, equaling $1,500-$1,700 gross pay per week. OTR/regional runs have drivers out for three weeks at a time with a flexible restart and available extension if needed. The freight is no touch, but you will be strapping and unstrapping PODS containers.
Local driver
Local drivers at Cardinal drive either dry van or flatbed and average earnings greater than $55,000 annually — more than $1,000 weekly! As a local driver, you’ll enjoy no-touch freight, local deliveries, and daily home time.
Home weekly driver
This is the perfect opportunity for drivers wanting regular home time each week — typically on weekends — it can vary but you can count on it every week! You’ll haul driver assist tailgating freight and earn $1,300-$1,500 each week, an average annual income of $71,000. There is also a $1,500 sign-on bonus and $57 layover pay.
To become a driver for Cardinal Logistics, applicant must be 21 years of age or older, have a Class A CDL, and at least nine months of tractor-trailer experience in the last three years or two years of experience in the past five years.
