Edward Chaparro, originally a tow truck driver, set his sights on driving an 18-wheeler. Edwards signed up to get his Class A license for $5,250. Edward noticed his trucker falling asleep not just once but throughout his time training and decided to record it. Edward ended up getting dismissed from the class after his instructor confronted him for recording and showing the owners the video.
Edward was devastated and was concerned about how he’d be able to provide for his family. The company wasn’t happy with his recording but his instructor should have also been supervising. It becomes a legally sticky situation reported by WSVN. The owner was not willing to give a full refund but gave him an $800 check to take the driving test at another school.
