Zach Yeakley, a driver for CFI, a Joplin, Missouri trucking company, was named a Highway Angel by the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA). On March 17, 2022, Yeakley rescued six people from a fiery 45+ vehicle wreck that resulted from dense fog. Yeakley received combat lifesaver training from his 15 years in the Army National Guard. He worked along side a sheriff, trooper, and a FedEx driver to help the injured to get out of burning vehicles and sadly were unable to help everyone. Yeakley truly is a Highway Angel.
