If you’re driving through Memphis these next few weeks, expect delays. The Trucker reported that “on Monday, Aug. 1, inspectors with the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) began performing a routine bridge inspection on the bridge, which travels over the Mississippi River.” They are predicting the inspection to last for about three weeks.
Details:
Northbound outside lanes
- 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday
Southbound outside lanes
- 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday
They are planning to close starting with outside lanes, and only one at a time.
