Job Description

• Local and Semi-Local Routes: Deliver grocery freight from the Kroger Distribution Center in Salem to store locations in VA Beach, Richmond, Salem, Roanoke, OH, KY, TN, and WV.

• Deliver grocery freight from the Kroger Distribution Center in Salem, VA locally and to stores in VA Beach, Richmond, OH, KY, TN, and WV.
• Run local and semi-local routes, ensuring you’re home weekly and through the house often. 
• Check off Freight at customer locations, verifying the accuracy of all deliveries. Some touch with totes is required.
• Maintain excellent customer service by providing a positive and professional experience at each store.
• Comply with all company safety regulations and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.   
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure your assigned equipment is properly maintained.   

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 24 months of recent and verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Refrigerated and Dry Van experience (preferred).
• Clean MVR/PSP/Clearinghouse/Background.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, service, and job stability.
