Leggio Distribution is an independent contractor for FedEx Ground. As we continue to build our team to meet the evolving needs of E-Commerce, we are seeking reliable, Full Time home delivery drivers to provide delivery services to homes and businesses in the METAIRIE, LA area.

Guaranteed minimum base pay of $130/day

CDL License is NOT required! (Previous experience at Amazon, UPS, or DHL is a plus!)

Terminal Location: 450 Northpointe Ct., Covington, Louisiana 70433

Schedules Available: FLEXIBLE – Full time is 5 days per week; weekend availability is required!

Work Hours: 7:30am – Delivery Completion (Around 5:00pm)

Delivery Driver Benefits:

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age
• 1+ Year(s) verifiable professional driving experience in last 3 years. (Any driving that is part of a job where pay was received – Uber, Construction, Food Delivery, Lyft, Amazon, Landscaping, etc.)
• We are also looking for drivers who are willing to travel on occasion.
• Louisiana Drivers Licenses MUST be a Class D license
• Clean driving record – No accidents or violations in 3 years
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
• Must submit to a background check
• Ability to make between 150-180 stops per day
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in all weather conditions
• Must be comfortable with picking up vehicle and packages at the Covington, LA terminal and making deliveries in Metairie, LA.
• Amazon experience qualifies as driving experience!

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Arrive at Covington, LA FedEx terminal to pick up vehicle and packages around 7:30am.
• You will be delivering in urban, dense routes in Metairie, LA using a step-style van.
• Conduct Pre/Post trip van inspections daily following safety guidelines.
• Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weight without damage to the package or injury to oneself or others.

Pay: From $130/day, based on number of deliveries
