Job Description

City Bear Logistics Inc., a FedEx Ground contractor has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for part-time delivery drivers in the Chattanooga, TN area.

Delivery drivers will be operating out of the Chattanooga terminal (located at 3021 Alton Park BLVD, Chattanooga, TN 37410) with delivery routes servicing residential and business areas. Our drivers will be operating 18ft step vans provided by the employer.

CDL License is NOT Required!

Start Pay: $15 to $18.75 per hour

Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm (or until delivery completion)

Schedule: Full-timeMonday-Friday, Part-time weekdays and a Saturday

Delivery Driver Requirements:

  • 1+ year(s) of verifiable driving history in the last 3 years (Previous experience with MILITARY, CDL, FedEx, Amazon, UPS, USPS, or DHL a plus)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer)
  • Background Check Required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and move up to 150 lbs with a handcart
  • This is a physical job and requires that the delivery driver gets in and out of the truck at each stop

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

  • Maintain 100% service performance – Deliver all the packages every day in a timely manner
  • The ability to locate addresses using GPS and/or maps is a must
  • Complete pre and post trip vehicle inspections
  • Follow FedEx Ground procedures for scanning and handling packages
  • Ensure truck and packages are secure at all times.
  • Wear proper uniform while at work at all times
  • Ensure all Safety Incidents are properly reported to the Business Contacts

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 – $18.75 per hour
