Peterbilt and Kenworth’s remote diagnostic subscriptions can now be managed online through the Paccar Solutions Portal. Using the existing Paccar access online, customers can now monitor, manage, and renew their Smartlinq and TruckTech+ subscriptions.
Peterbilt’s Smartlinq
Smartlinq offers remote diagnostics technology that monitors over 800 diagnostic codes and provides real-time service alerts and recommendations. The system automatically sends email warnings and notifications, as well as the location of the three nearest Peterbilt locations. This service helps streamline service and maintenance according to a press release from Peterbilt officials.
Smartlinq is standard on Peterbilt Class 8 trucks and optional on their new line of medium-duty trucks. Peterbilt currently has more than 100,000 trucks on the road today with active Smartlinq subscriptions with fleet and truck operators.
These subscriptions can be managed using the existing Paccar Solutions Portal online. Here, subscribers can make payments directly via credit card or ACH draft, as well as monitor, manage, and renew their subscription.
Kenworth’s TruckTech+
Kenworth TruckTech+ enhances vehicle diagnostics by providing real-time engine health information to fleet managers and Kenworth dealers to help optimize truck uptime and productivity, and enabling fleets to track the location of their Kenworth trucks.
Kenworth TruckTech+ is standard on Class 8 Kenworth trucks equipped with Paccar MX engines and Cummins diesel and natural gas engines and optional on some models of their medium-duty trucks.
As of October of this year, there are more than 130,000 trucks in the U.S. and Canada enrolled in Kenworth TruckTech+.
By logging into Paccar Solutions, Kenworth customers can manage payment options, renew their TruckTech+ subscriptions, and monitor subscription expiration dates for all their trucks. They can also manage subscriptions for trucks that will be added to their fleet in the future.
