Love’s Travel Stops is looking ahead to the future with ambitious plans for expansion in 2023. Shane Wharton, President of Love’s, spoke optimistically about the upcoming year saying they have “a lot of exciting things planned.” This includes adding new locations and partnering up with other businesses as well as providing more amenities within their existing stops. A few of the items on the docket include:
• Opening 25 new travel stops
• Adding 30 new restaurants
• Remodeling some existing, older locations
• Opening 15 Loves Truck Care and Speedco locations
• Adding services and partnerships with top brands
• Expanding the number of RV hookups
“What Tom Love started in 1964 has evolved into more than a store that offers gas, and we’ll continue to push the envelope with the addition of new services, amenities and partnerships,” said Wharton, “Being innovative and strategic with what we do adds reasons for customers to choose us and we’ll continue to find new ways to offer good value at competitive prices across the Love’s Family of Companies.”
Love’s is taking strides to remain a leader in convenience by providing safe and clean locations for customers. In addition to their plans to open 25 new stores in 2023 they are also working to remodel existing establishments during the same period. This includes modernizing bathroom facilities alongside full-scale renovations – all without disrupting customer service.
Starting this summer, customers of the retailer will also see continued expansion of Love’s-branded snacks and food in their locations including trail mixes, beef jerky, cold-pressed juices, and fresh food items such as mac and cheese, quesadillas, and BBQ offerings. In addition to expanded food options, they also plan to add 30 new restaurants to their line up of more than 1,100 sites across the country allowing them to remain one of America’s top restaurant providers.
Love’s Travel Stops is expanding in a big way to accommodate the growing number of RVers across the nation. By adding another 30 RV locations with 1,000 hookups and 80-100 Amazon Locker spots, Love’s will boast over 1300 sites for travelers. To sweeten these deals even further customers can take advantage of exclusive discounts through their Connect app – including 10 cent per gallon savings on gasoline and diesel.
Professional drivers have a new reason to pull up at Love’s- the travel stop chain just announced exclusive partnerships with Interstate Batteries and Daimler Truck North America! Customers can find top of the line, Interstate branded batteries only available from major over-the-road stops. Plus, expert mechanical warranty work on Freightliner trucks is now another service offered by these one stop shops for truckers around the globe.
Love’s is showing its commitment to drivers and customers with a major push for improved service. With fifteen new truck care locations, 75 maintenance bays, plus an additional two tire retread centers and expanded services at their fleet yards – the company isn’t just stopping there! Love’s is also expanding training opportunities with two newly-opened Truck Care Academies giving them four total locations across the country – ensuring that technicians have access to all they need in order provide top-notch customer experience on every repair job.
Wharton said Love’s has expansion plans for other entities within the company.
Musket, a powerhouse in logistics and trading across the U.S., is furthering its long-term partnership with Circle K to guarantee customers dependable products at competitive prices. Gemini Motor Transport has also recently announced developments this year by adding 325 new trucks alongside 100 trailers which will replace 250 older mileage units; allowing for more efficient vehicle services all around! To add, Trillium Energy Solutions also plays their part as they look towards supporting National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure plans in 2023 through their existing network of 80 EV charging stations – both old and new- spread out throughout the country.
With all this growth, also comes new job opportunities. In 2023 alone, the company plans to add 2,000 jobs to their ranks across the nation.
