Get ready to rev your engines! Next month, the Mid-West Truckers Association is hosting their “biggest little truck show” at Peoria Civic Center. With an array of impressive custom trucks and trailers on display along with its annual convention, this event promises a lot for truck enthusiasts looking for fun in February — but make sure you register by January 30.
Truckers from across the region are invited to join in on this two-day extravaganza. The Mid-West Truck Show starts Friday, offering exhibitors and attendees a chance to mingle while enjoying special events. One such event is the Safe & Courteous Driver Award which honors members of Midwest Truckers Association and their drivers for exemplary behavior on the roads. The event will run between 9AM-5PM Friday, February 3 or 9AM-4PM Saturday, February 4.
Truckers from far and wide will be rolling into town this weekend for the Truck Pride Contest truck show. All makes, models, and years of trucks are invited to join in on the fun! There’s something for everyone – a People’s Choice award voted by visitors to recognize their favorite ride; as well as Driver’s Choice awards where participants can cast votes among themselves.
Association members will have the opportunity to take part in an array of educational programs this year.
For those looking for something extra special, Truck Centers Inc is sponsoring “Pull for a Cure,” an exciting kids’ pedal semi pull that promises some real thrills! Open to all ages and with no weight limit (max 80lbs), children can sign up using registration forms and compete against each other on Saturday Feb 4th at 2pm on the show floor. Even better, entrance fees go straight towards pediatric cancer research, so everyone’s support is vital – not to mention prizes are available too.
