Pilot has introduced a 10 percent discount on food and beverages for veterans, active-duty and retired service members.
The discount is available for those who download Pilot’s myRewards Plus™ app and who can verify their military service with a military I.D. on the app. Active duty and retired service members, National Guard, Reserves, spouses and other immediate family members are eligible.
The verification process uses an online identity network, I.D.me, and only takes a few minutes, according to Pilot. Once the user is verified, the discount will be automatically applied to their food and beverage purchases, including pilot coffee and hot food items, at checkout.
“It is our honor to provide this discount program in appreciation of the military community and all they do for our country,” Pilot Founder and war veteran Jim Haslam told CDL Life. “We are forever grateful to them for their service and this is one way we are able to give back to those who have given so much.”
