Parts Town has widened the scope of its same-day delivery service using UPS’s Roadie, according to a recent news release. Now, customers within a 50-mile radius from over 130 Parts In Town locations across the U.S. can benefit from this service, an increase from the previous 20-mile limit. Parts In Town consists of local service businesses, dealers, and distributors that sell their inventory via Parts Town.
The products available for same-day delivery include parts for foodservice equipment, HVAC systems, and residential appliances, which can be delivered in as little as two hours. Faster parts delivery streamlines the equipment repair process and allows service technicians to get equipment like a flooding dishwasher or a broken HVAC system back up and running faster, making the expansion particularly valuable.
Key Benefits:
- Faster Repairs: Quicker parts delivery speeds up equipment repairs, helping technicians fix issues like flooding dishwashers or broken HVAC systems more efficiently. “Because of our industry-leading national footprint, same-day delivery with Roadie makes it easy and efficient for retailers to be there for their customers when they need them most – and make sure they have a clean glass, a cool room, and an ice-cold drink in no time,” Roadie Founder and CEO Marc Gorlin said in the release.
- Extended Coverage: With the broader 50-mile reach, Parts Town can now serve entire cities like Chicago within two hours. “With the increase to a 50-mile radius, Parts Town can now deliver parts to the entire city of Chicago in as fast as two hours,” the release said.
- Partnership with Roadie: Roadie’s extensive driver network enhances delivery capabilities, covering over 95% of U.S. households.
- Additional Access: Beyond local Parts In Town locations, customers can also access inventory at Parts Town’s main distribution center in Addison, Illinois.

Other parts distributors are working to boost their own same-day delivery capabilities. Marcone announced on May 17 that it would use DoorDash’s white-label fulfillment platform to provide same-day delivery in under an hour on average. Roadie’s extensive network and UPS’s support positions Parts Town well for further expansion of its same-day delivery services. Roadie features more than 200,000 active drivers on its platform, providing delivery coverage for more than 95% of U.S. households, per its website.
